Lightning bolt with Usain, Al Green, and trash talk on IG.

Bolt of Lightning - Social media played a big part in President Obama's election to office, and he hasn't forgotten his digital roots. Recently, the Tweeter-in-Chief has been on somewhat of a social media tear. Here are a few of the president's most memorable antics and photo opps. While on a state visit to Jamaica, the president spent some time with Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, after a town hall meeting. Obama — an avid runner himself — gamely did Bolt's signature lightning bolt pose with the Olympian, who later posted a video of the goofy moment on Instagram. (Photo: Instagram /Usain Bolt)

Historic Handshake - After half a century of rocky — at best — relations, the President made history this week when he shook hands with Cuban leader Raúl Castro at the Summit of the Americas in Panama City. The brief gesture was so important that it warranted its own press release from the National Security Council. The moment was captured on camera and blasted around the world via social media, symbolizing a new day in US-Cuba relations.(Photo: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Covering Al Green - Sometimes it's hard to imagine how even President Obama's fiercest opponents can resist his charm. The President wowed an audience at a fundraiser at the Apollo Theater in New York in 2012 by singing the opening line from Al Green's classic, "Let's Stay Together." A clip from the event immediately went viral, and it was soon released as a free ringtone on Obama's re-election campaign site. (Photo: Channel 4 News Via Youtube)

Love Tweets - POTUS is the leader of the free world, but he's a devoted husband as well, with a well-documented romantic side. Despite being under intense pressure for the first presidential debate against Mitt Romney on Oct. 3, 2012, Obama didn't forget that the date was significant for another reason: his 20-year wedding anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, the president tweeted a sweet message to First Lady Michelle Obama. "Twenty years ago today, I married the love of my life and my best friend," he wrote. "Happy anniversary, Michelle."(Photo: via Twitter)

American Heroes - As the leaders of Team USA, Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard may not have captured the World Cup for America, but they did earn the gratitude of the leader of the free world. "To see the way you guys captured the hearts and the imaginations of the country is unbelievable. This is the first time, I think you guys have had the entire country focused." Beer Summit - It seemed like a good idea, but the president's "Beer Summit" with Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and the white officer, Sgt. James Crowley, who arrested him for burglary in front of his own home was flatter than a glass of Bud Light left out too long. Still, the well-intentioned sit down garnered headlines and indicated a leader open to talking about social issues from every perspective.(Photo: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)
