Love Is Love - Azealia revealed that she’s experimented with a little girl on girl action on her cut “212” and went a little deeper when probed about her sexual orientation by Ebro and crew. Death to 360 Deals - Azealia finally was released from her contract with Interscope this year and proceeded to release her debut Broke With Expensive Taste independently in November. She explained the split stating that the label wasn’t too pleased with her releasing free music because she wasn’t signed to a 360 deal and they couldn’t make any money off her shows.She stated, “The album cost $2 million to make. ... Style Wars - The New York MC caught the attention of Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld back in 2012 when she performed at his party. She admitted that she didn’t even know who he was as fashion wasn’t high on her radar and she was just going to get a check at the time. She learned quickly though, explaining, “When you’re from an artsy family like mine… My mother would take a thousand dollars and buy a couch before she bought a purse so my values were always put into different things. The Come Up - There’s no doubt that Azealia Banks has her own sound and it was crafted from a few elements. She explained her vibe and come-up saying, “In terms of my musical background, my mom listens to a lot of jazz… a lot of avant garde jazz stuff, so I like Rachelle Ferrell… and Whitney Houston and stuff like that.
