Details that can't be overlooked in Straight Outta Compton.

10 Things That Must Be Addressed in N.W.A. Movie - The casting for the starring roles in the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is now complete as Aldis Hodge has been cast to play MC Ren while Neil Brown Jr. will play DJ Yella. Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell were previously cast to play Dr. Dre and Eazy-E while Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. will play portray his pops. The film will be directed by F. Gary Gray and is scheduled to hit theatres on August 14, 2015.Now with many biopics, creative licensing is usually taken and many facts are purposely left out or the truth is sometimes glossed over. With the living members of the group serving as producers of the film, let's hope this doesn't happen. Still, there are a few topics that we think need to be properly addressed in the upcoming film. — Michael Harris (@IceBlueVA)(Photo:Todd MacMillan/Universal Pictures)

The Break Up - Ice Cube broke from N.W.A. in December 1989 after claiming that N.W.A.'s manger Jerry Heller and Eazy-E were jerking him and the rest of the crew financially. Before bouncing though, he had a pow wow with Dre about standing together and addressing the issue as a unified front. That conversation definitely needs to be in the film as well as Dre's decision to side with Eazy over Cube. (Photos from left: CORBIS, Ethan Miller/Getty Images for Beats by Dre, Larry French/BET/Getty Images for BET)

Dr. Dre vs. Death Row - Dr. Dre's got a message for whoever currently holds Death Row's interests: he's owed approximately $3 million from the now bankrupt label that he helped build to its legendary status in hip hop history. Dre sued The Row for unpaid royalties, digital sales and failure to bump his percentage up two points to 20%, as he was once promised.(Photo: Isaac Brekken/Getty Images for Beats by Dre)

One Less... - If there's one black mark on Dr. Dre's illustrious career, it's his 1991 altercation with Body & Soul MC Dee Barnes. Barnes alleged that she was beaten by the producer at a nightclub over a perceived slight in an interview. Dre purportedly slammed her head repeatedly against a brick wall while his bodyguard held off potential rescuers at gun point. Dre was allegedly upset with Barnes, who also hosted the popular video show Pump It Up!, because she interviewed Ice Cube after his departure from the group and didn't like the way his group was portrayed. There's no way the filmmakers can ignore this infamous incident, it would be a glaring ommision.(Photo: Isaac Brekken/Getty Images for Beats by Dre)

The Making of 'F--k tha Police' - "F--k tha Police" was one of N.W.A.'s biggest songs but it wasn't created after being harassed by the po-po for no reason. This could make for a humorous part in the flick if they show how Eazy- E and his crew were riding through L.A. shooting at people with paint ball guns and felt some type of way after being pulled over by the fuzz and forced to lay down on the ground after being stopped. Not happy about the frisk, they went to the studio and laid down the classic track. (Photo: Raymond Boyd/Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images)

Un-Easy Topic - Eazy-E died at the age of 31 on March 26, 1995, from AIDS, but there are several theories surrounding his death, including beliefs by his protégés Bone Thugs-N-Harmony that he was murdered. The reason for the speculation is because he passed just one month after being diagnosed with the deadly disease. The facts of his death have never quite added up and it would be interesting to see that addressed in Straight Outta Compton. (Photo: Al Pereira/Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images)

Gangsta Gangsta - According to N.W.A.'s former manager Jerry Heller, Suge Knight and a few henchman paid him and Eazy-E an office visit with bats and lead pipes and forced them to release Dr. Dre., The D.O.C. and Michel'le from their recording contracts which freed them up to start Death Row. There's no way they can escape this pivotal moment that marked the end of the N.W.A era.(Photos from left: Neilson Barnard/Getty Images, Al Pereira/Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images, Michael Wright / WENN)

The Dayz of Wayback - Prior to establishing N.W.A., Dr. Dre and DJ Yella were members of the electro collective World Class Wreckin' Cru and created hits like the R&B gem "Turn Off the Lights." Their funky futuristic image was the farthest thing from the gangsta persona they would later adopt. Let's hope they don't skate over this pivotal transition.(Photo: Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images Eazy E)

Ruthless Villain - Every story needs an antagonist. We've all heard the stories of how Eazy-E and his manger/business partner Jerry Heller were ripping off their artists but the real question is how did the two become so tight? Their relationship definitely deserves to be addressed in Straight Outta Compton.  (Photos from left: Marsaili McGrath/Getty Images, Ron Galella, Ltd./WireImage)

AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted - After leaving N.W.A., a lot of Ice Cube's raps became revolutionary and addressed serious issues affecting Black people. A lot of this had to do with him becoming a Muslim and being guided by Minister Louis Farrakhan and Dr. Khalid Muhammad. A major turning point in Cube's life, this altering transformation can not be skipped over. (Photos from left: AP Photo/Paul Beaty, Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images, Spencer Platt/Newsmakers via Getty Images)

Color Blind - N.W.A. played their part and tried to promote peace throughout the streets of Los Angeles after the L.A. riots and helped support the 1992 gang truce. Straight Outta Compton must show their role in this epic endeavor and how their music addressed a lot of those issues before it hit a boiling point. (Photo: Al Pereira/Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images)
