The 2014 NFL Free Agency Frenzy

Chris Johnson joins New York Jets on two-year deal.

Hot Mess - Despite bright talent on the field, there was apparently some truly disgusting behavior exhibited by players invited to the NFL's Combine scouting camp back in February. According to reports, two players, one rumored to be a first round pick at next week's NFL Draft, trashed their hotel room by scattering feces and urine around the bathroom and half-eaten food on the beds, among other transgressions. (Photo: NFL)
Chris Johnson Signs With New York Jets - It's official. After visiting with the New York Jets on Tuesday, running back Chris Johnson signed a two-year deal worth up to $9 million with Gang Green on Wednesday. “I have a fresh start,” Johnson told The Tennessean newspaper. “Now I am going to go out there with a chip on my shoulder. I know a lot of people are doubting me. I still have it." (Photos from Left: NY Jets, Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

The Seattle Seahawks receiver announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday via a message on the Seahawks website. “I was just thinking about things I’ve been through in the last few years,” said Rice, 27. “I’ve hit the ground a number of times. I have quite a few injuries. It’s something I’ve always battled through and came back from. But I just figure at this point I have the rest of my life ahead of me and I want to be able to function and do things later down the road.” Rice played seven years in the NFL and was known as much for his big-play abilitiy as much as being injury-prone, having suffered multiple concussions and also feeling concussion-like symptoms during his career. (Photo: Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images)
