You Gotta Have It: What to Hear, See and Cop This Month

Yeezy's kicks, the hottest beachwear and more.

Magic Mike XXL - You'll probably see a lot of men with their shirts off this summer, but we can pretty much guarantee they won't look like this. Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and the rest of the hunks are getting back on the pony for the sequel of the 2012 hit. This go 'round, the strippers are joined by Donald Glover as a serenading man of the evening, and Jada Pinkett Smith as an erotic club owner who helps the guys out of a jam. Turn up the heat with these hotties starting July 1. (Photo: Claudette Barius)
Meditation Made Simple - The perfect antidote to our million-mile-a-minute lives, Russell Simmons's new app will guide you through your chakras, get you to Zen and help even the most ADD-prone find inner tranquility. Download the app onto your iPhone and Uncle Rush's soothing voice will gently ease you into transcendental meditation. (Photo: Rush Communications)
The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace: A Brilliant Young Man Who Left Newark for the Ivy League by Jeff Hobbs - This moving work of literary non-fiction about an overachieving kid who gets his dream of a full scholarship to Yale, only to fall into excessive marijuana use and depression once he gets there will have us all thinking about the price of success. Written by Peace's former roommate Hobbs, the book is not exactly a fun beach read, but does fit right in with the transitional, coming-of-age feelings that characterize summer. The bookis available on paperback July 28. (Photo: Scribner)
GSaints Swimwear - If it's good enough for Angela Simmons, it's good enough for us. The budding fashionista counts these bold, bright suits among her favorites for summer, and we can see why. With do-able prices and scorching hot designs, these bikinis and (barely) one pieces will make you the belle of the beach. (Photo: GSaints Swimwear)Jill Scott's WOMAN & Tamar Braxton's Calling All Lovers - Here are two albums that will be on heavy rotation this summer, at least on our iPods. R&B diva Jill Scott finally blesses us with a follow-up to her 2011 opus Light of the Sun, while The Real host Tamar Braxton follows up her well-received debut, Love and War, with what looks like another LP packed with ballads about love and heartbreak. Hopefully there will be an upbeat summer jam or two between these two records. (Photos from left: Jemal Countess/Getty Images, Jason Merritt/Getty Images)
