Spurs Destroy Thunder - This Western Conference Finals series between the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder has certainly had its fair share of lopsided victories. With the series tied at 2-2, Game 5 on Thursday night wasn’t any different. The Spurs blew a 10-point halftime lead wide open over the final two quarters, routing the Thunder 117-89 to take a 3-2 series lead. Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs with 22 points and 12 rebounds, telling the Associated Press, “This is the craziest series I’ve ever been involved in.” True enough, all three of the Spurs’ wins in this series have come by margins of 17 points or greater, as they’re one victory away from returning to the NBA Finals.

But when USA Today asked if he was bothered by Stephenson’s weird antics of blowing into the ear of Miami Heat superstar LeBron James during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday night, the Pacers president replied, “Yes I am.” Heat guard Ray Allen told ESPN that Stephenson’s shenanigans were acts of “buffoonery” and that “he’ll grow up.”(Photos from Left: Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images, Andy Lyons/Getty Images)

Curry Surprised by Warriors' Quick Kerr Hiring - In his first public comments since coach Mark Jackson was fired on May 6, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry admits that the “semi-quick hire” of Steve Kerr just eight days later was “kind of a shock” to most of his teammates. "There's no sugarcoating it — it was a weird, expedited situation that we didn't see coming," Curry told the Associated Press. "And guys are human. You have to be able to adjust to it and have some time to respond. That's kind of what happened. I think we'll be fine once we have a clear picture of what's going on next year. One thing I can say about this organization, they want to win. Each decision is geared toward winning. That's something that flies well with a lot of players — that they're going to try to put us in the best position to win. Obviously, I had a certain opinion of ...

Broncos' Ward Embarrassed by Strip Club Incident - Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward says his incident at a strip club last week was “kind of blown out of proportion” but enough to be “embarrassing.” Police issued an arrest warrant for Ward last week on misdemeanor charges of assault and disturbing the peace after he allegedly threw a mug at a strip club bartender, but Ward told The Denver Post: "It was basically a ticket or a summons, and it wasn't supposed to be a warrant. There was miscommunication between the police department and myself, so that's why they issued that. But that's all being resolved." It better be. The Broncos signed Ward, formerly of the Cleveland Browns, to a $23 million deal this offseason. (Photo: Noam Galai/Getty Images for Beats by Dr. Dre)

Rich Gannon Says Johnny Football Should Lay Low - Former NFL quarterback and MVP Rich Gannon says that Johnny Manziel’s trip to Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend was a mistake for the rookie QB. “If you’re Brian Hoyer, you’re doing cartwheels after seeing those pictures of Johnny in Las Vegas because it helps him,” Gannon told USA Today. “I don’t see how that weekend helps Johnny. Look, he didn’t do anything wrong or bad. But all players aren’t created equal. You’re held to a higher standard as the face of the franchise. We all make mistakes.
