The Evolution of R2BEES - Hip hop has had a global impact for many moons. And the rappers Mugeez and Paedae da Pralem, who make up the hip hop duo R2BEES (which stands for Refuse to be Broke), are further proof. Formed in Ghana, R2BEES has become the top purveyors of the Ghanaian hip hop sub-genre "hiplife," which mixes rap with the sounds of hilife (African pop music) and reggae.
