Epicurious - More than 1,500 children ages 8 to 12 entered the first lady's Healthy Lunchtime Challenge, but only a lucky 54 will get to attend a kids' "state dinner" at the White House on August 20, where the competition's winning recipes will be served. The top entries included a teriyaki salmon wrap, a garden chicken pizza and vegan Sloppy Joes. A free online cookbook featuring the recipes also will be made available next month. "Kids need 60 minutes of physical activity each day to grow up healthy and strong," said First Lady Michelle Obama. "That's why it's so important that kids get an early start on being active. Sportacus, Chica and all their friends at Sprout are helping us inspire our kids to get moving at an early age and have fun doing it, which will help them build good habits to last a lifetime."
