The phones were made out of aluminum and included a faster A9 processor. The screen options were 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches for the 6s Plus, equipped with touch technology called 3D Touch. The biggest sign of evolution was the removal of the headphone jack and inclusion of EarPods that plugged into the Lightning port. Wireless EarPods were also an option. The 7 and 7 Plus were also available in shiny black. The 7 Plus was by far the best because of its dual camera and portrait mode, which allowed users to take photos using depth of field.
