The Cast of The Best Man : Where Are They Now?

A look at the players from this classic romantic comedy.

Sanaa Lathan - Sanaa Lathan played Harper's girlfriend Robin, who was clueless to the melodrama she was about to witness. Lathan starred as Laurence Fishburne's wife in 2011's Contagion and a number of other films over the years, including the rom-com Something New, Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys and this year's surprise hit The Perfect Guy. She also recently appeared in the hit cable series Boss. (Photo: Jemal Countess/Getty Images for Lucille Lortel Awards)
Terrence Howard - Terrance Howard basically stole the movie as the aimless, womanizing Quentin. Howard went on to star in a number of critically acclaimed and blockbuster films, including Iron Man, Crash and Hustle & Flow (for which he received an Oscar nomination). In 2013, Howard co-starred in the Lee Daniels-directed The Butler. In 2014, he landed his most iconic role to date: as record mogul Lucious Lyon on the Fox mega-hit series Empire.  (Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)
Regina Hall - Regina Hall was Candy, one of the sexy strippers for Lance's bachelor party. After The Best Man, Hall became known for her comedic acting in the Scary Movie franchise. In 2012 she played Terrence J's love-interest in Think Like a Man and re-teamed with star Kevin Hart for the remake of the classic romantic comedy About Last Night and Think Like a Man Too. This year, she starred in the Lifetime movie With This Ring and the indie-dramedy People Places Things. (Photo: Fernando Leon/Getty Images)
Monica Calhoun - Monica Calhoun was cast as Mia, Lance's doting fiancée who shares a secret with Harper from their college days. Although Calhoun was already an actress to watch with her role in 1998's The Player's Club, the actress never found a breakout role to move her beyond films like Civil Brand and Gang of Roses. In 2011, she took to the Internet, starring in Robert Townsend's short-lived web-series, Diary of Single Mom. Perrineau will always be associated with his role as the wheelchair-bound narrator on the prison series Oz. Since The Best Man, the Brooklyn-raised star has been busy on TV, starring in series from Lost to Sons of Anarchy to The Wedding Band. He also appeared in the high-profile films 28 Weeks Later and Zero Dark Thirty. Most recently, Perrineau starred in the TV drama Constantine. (Photo: Mark Sullivan/Getty Images)
