The Roots as The Alabama Porch Monkeys - The Roots have found a place in the hip hop Hall of Fame, having released 10 studio albums and numerous collaborations with other artists. Spike Lee - Since Bamboozled, Lee had gone to become a fixture of Black Hollywood and receive many awards for his work in the film industry. He has two academy award nominations, an honorary Oscar, an Emmy and a Peabody Award to his name. His work has examined race relations, colorism in the Black community, and the role of the media.
