Twenty-Two Duos: 22 Collaboration Albums We'd Like to Hear

Game and Chris Brown top our wish list.

Twenty-Two Duos: 22 Collaboration Albums We'd Like to Hear - Maybe it's the holiday spirit, but recently it seems like everyone in the rap world wants to get together and make music. After Kanye and Jay's Watch the Throne tour/victory lap, who could blame them? And now Chris Brown and Game may have caught the kumbaya spirit as well, as the latter recently mentioned that a collabo album could be in the cards for the pair. "Who knows what the future holds, but I'm not opposed to doing anything like that," Game told CBS Local when asked about a joint project with Breezy. "I have a lot of respect and a lot of love for his craft and what he does. That's my little brother. Chris Brown, he is, to me, Bobby Brown in hip hop these days. He's just the bad boy of R&B. He's also like a little brother to me...We make good music." As hyped as that's got us, we can't hel...

T.I. and B.o.B. - Last year, T.I. and B.o.B. said they were working on a joint album titled The Man and the Martian. "It actually started as a joke," B.o.B told MTV News last November. "Tip would always refer to me as the Martian, and in one of his lyrics, he said, 'It's the man and the Martian,' and we said, 'Man that could be an album title.' We kinda just played around with it. But it seems to be taking form in a very organic way." (Photo: Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images for AXE, Chung Sung-Jun/Getty Images))

Jay-Z and Beyonce - "Crazy in Love," "Deja Vu," "Hollywood," "Lift Off," and the list goes on and on. This married couple may already have a collaboration album tucked away under the covers.(Photo: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)

Rick Ross and Drake - There have been quite a few R&B/rap collaborations, but for some reason Rick Ross rapping next to Drake singing on the hook fits perfectly. Even on records like "Aston Martin Music," where Drizzy wears his rap hat, these two blend well together.(Photo: Phil McCarten/PictureGroup)

Diggy Simmons and Justin Bieber - Making teenage girls cry all around the country, these two young artists probably have more in common than you think. A collaboration album by the two of them might be best suited for the Disney Channel, but it probably would sell through the roof.(Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

33. “Make Me Proud,” Drake - Nicki and Drake keep the "are they or aren't they?" rumors going strong with this bubbling down-tempo duet, trading verses and Auto-tuned harmonies.(Photo: Brad Barket/PictureGroup)

Nicki Minaj and Drake - Both these Young Money artists have shown they can make sweet music by collaborating with just about anyone. Still, the chemistry between the two of them comes off in their music. Songs like "Moment for Life" and "Up All Night" prove these two are a match made in heaven, or on Young Money at the least.(Photo: Brad Barket/PictureGroup)

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj - These BFFs have collaborated a couple of times on songs like "Fly" and "Raining Men." When Rihanna isn't busy fondling Nicki, she's laying a hot chorus down on a record. These two hooking up has got to be at the top of most men's wish lists--musically that is.(Photo: PNP/WENN.com)

50 Cent and Eminem - Maybe call it Ebony and Ivory? All jokes aside, a collaboration between 50 and Em would appeal to most hip-hop fans. Plus, who else would 50 actually get along with?(Photo: Frank Micelotta/Getty Images)

Jadakiss and Ghostface Killah - Sorry, Sheek Louch. We know you're currently working with Ghost on a collabo album, but our dream is to see Jada and Ghost trade bars and bars and more bars.(Photos: Scott Gries/Getty Images; Fergus McDonald/Getty Images)

Welcome BackJune 5, 2011 - Weezy made a triumphant return to the annual Summer Jam concert hosted by New York City radio station Hot 97. The self-professed best rapper alive thanked the 60,000 fans for their support while he was locked up before rocking a set alongside Rick Ross, Diddy, DJ Khaled, Drake and other Young Money crew members.(Photo: Sean O'Kane/BET)

Lil Wayne and Drake - Some folks just can't get enough of Young Money. And there's no doubt that these two stars would be the ideal Young Money collaboration. Drake could sing and rap and Wayne could rap and..., well, they could both multitask.(Photo: Sean O'Kane for BET.com)

Rick Ross and Lil Wayne - YMCMBMMG. There almost aren't enough letters in the alphabet to cover a collaboration between Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. The two MCs have collaborated on a few of hip hop's most recent jams, including "If I Die Today," "Hustle Hard" and "9 Piece." (Photo: Sean O'Kane for BET.com)

J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar - Rap collaborations need a dose of newness. What started out as a mixtape is apparently turning into a full-length album. "I'm not settling for a mixtape because I feel we're too talented for that and the music we've made so far is too good," says J. Cole. (Photos: Taylor Hill/Getty Images; Top Dawg Entertainment)

Nas and Lauryn Hill - When Nas and Lauryn Hill worked together on the brilliantly executed remake "If I Ruled The World," hip-hop critics salivated for more. Also, from a musical perspective, these two have an appreciation for reggae, especially the Marleys.(Photos: Rick Diamond/Getty Images for BET; Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Jill Scott and Ledisi - Anyone who wants to hear real vocalists sang (not sing, but "sang") would appreciate an album of duets with Ledisi and Jill Scott going back and forth. It would also make for better than average coffee shop music. Starbucks, get the check ready.(Photos: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Jackson's Action - When Michael and Janet Jackson wanted to give their music a hip hop edge, they knew who to call. Hev rapped on MJ's smash "Jam" and Janet's hit single "Alright." \r\r(Photo: Dalle/Giles Petard /Landov)

Michael and Janet Jackson - There hasn't been a brother-sister duo as famous or as talented as Michael and Janet. Even though both spent their lives making music, there is only one collaboration between the two and that was "Scream." If Janet could work out the legal drama that it would take to get this to happen, this album could be bigger than Natalie Cole and her dad's Unforgettable masterpiece.(Photo: Dalle/Giles Petard/Landov)

Drake Takes Notice - Drake gave Kendrick a great look when he tapped the Compton MC to appear on "Buried Alive," from his blockbuster album Take Care. Drizzy also recruited Kendrick to open for him on his Club Paradise tour. (Photos from left: Chris McKay/Getty Images for BET, George Pimentel)

Kendrick Lamar and Drake - Kendrick and Drake's are hitting three for three in collabos so far. After K-Dot opened for Drake on his Club Paradise tour, he also spit a verse on "Buried Alive" on Drizzy's Take Care. Then Drake returned the favor by duetting with Kendrick on his new single, "Poetic Justice." And the two made magic again when they appeared with 2 Chainz on ASAP Rocky's new single "Problem." After all that, we know a full collabo album between Drake and Kendrick has the potential to be classic.(Photos from left: Chris McKay/Getty Images for BET, George Pimentel)

OutKast - Believe it or not, it's been 12 years since a proper Outkast LP dropped (Love Below/Speakerboxxx was really just two solo albums). But with rumors pointing to a new album this year, we can't wait to see what one of rap's greatest groups has in store — and what Andre 3000 is going to wear. (Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Big Boi and Andre 3000 - No, we did not say Outkast! We said Big Boi and Andre 3000, the solo artists. Alright, fine, we cheated, but we're just about due for another Outkast album. Please.(Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Fat Joe and Joell Ortiz - Pun back! Not quite, but we all know Fat Joe was at his lyrical best when he was trading bars with the great Big Pun. Since Joell is regarded as the closet thing to Pun, this duo could likely rekindle some of that magic.(Photo: Manny Hernandez/PictureGroup; JoellOrtiz.com)

ATL Shawty - ATL's new Crunk princess would bring in Ludacris for another successful single on the Goodies album, "Oh." The music video would imprint the image of Ciara climbing and twerking on a car in the memories of fans across the world, pushing the single to the top ten on seven major music charts.(Photo: Peter Kramer/Getty Images)

Ludacris and Ciara - This ATL tandem has already produced two club bangers in "Oh," and "Ride." Not many make crunk&B as good as these two, so why not give fans a full serving of the goods?(Photo: Peter Kramer/Getty Images)

Mos Def and Jay Electronica - If anyone were able to get these two reclusive MCs to direct their focus on music 100 percent, this could make for a mighty dope project. We've already seen them in action on Jay's "Exhibit A (Remix)."(Photo: Terrence Jennings/PictureGroup)

Willow and Jaden Smith - Don't question the star power of the Smith family. Little Willow already has a smash single under her belt, and movie star Jaden moonlights as a rapper. A duo album from Will Smith's offspring sounds like a foregone conclusion.(Photo: AP Photo/Chris Pizzello)

Lil B and Lupe Fiasco - This might be the greatest odd couple ever assembled in hip hop. They are the lyrically potent Lupe and lyrically lite Lil B, but a few things they do have in common might work for them. They both are very outspoken and they have fan bases that are extremely loyal. It could all make for an unexpected gem. Don't knock it till you try it.(Photos: Ben Hider/PictureGroup; Anthony Harvey/MTV/PictureGroup)

One Love - Nas surprised everyone by announcing his reconciliation with Jay Z in the most public way possible: onstage at a massively promoted concert in 2005. Jay called out Nas midset and the two performed "Black Republican" (from Nas' then unreleased Hip-Hop Is Dead album) to an ecstatic crowd. The two later made their new alliance even more official when Hov, who was then president of Def Jam, signed Nas to the iconic label.(Photo: Scott Gries/Getty Images)

Jay Z and Nas - As two of the best that ever did it, when these bitter foes aired out the ether, reconciled and finally connected on wax—on "Black Republicans" and "Success"—the results were explosive. In fact, we'd have suggested they name their collaborative effort Black Republicans—if Herman Cain already sullied the brand.(Photo: Scott Gries/Getty Images)
