Jay Z vs. Mike Shand - Hov's Manhattan sports club, 40/40, sued chef Mike Shand, who was hired to cook for the club, after being Jay's tour chef, for a cool $1.5 million. According to the federal suit, Shand "failed to perform on significant aspects" of a deal to refurbish the menu for 40/40's $10 million reopening earlier this year, "costing the club lost profits, loss of good will [and] alienation of clientele."
