Sabrina Butler, Mississippi - The only woman on Mississippi's death row in 1990, Sabrina Butler was convicted of murder and child abuse after her 9-month-old child suddenly stopped breathing and died. Initially Butler signed a statement saying that she punched the child in the abdomen. After spending five years in prison, Sabrina was acquitted of all charges in 1995 and it was found that the child passed away of a kidney malady.
