Rappers vs. Athletes (Lil Wayne vs. Marcos Maidana) - Lil Wayne represented Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the Money Team as he walked the champ out to the ring in this past Saturday's win over Marcos Maidana. The YMCMB boss clearly takes his role seriously, as video tape surfaced of Weezy getting into an altercation with Maidana's camp. Apparently someone from the fighter's crew belted Wayne with a water bottle, and he wasn't too happy about that.Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and security was on point. But this isn't the first time MCs and athletes have gotten into altercations. Let's take a look at a few battles that took place off the stage and out of the ring.(Photos from Left: Ethan Miller/Getty Images, Rachel Murray/Getty Images for MTV)

Kris Humphries vs. Kanye West - Sometimes rap stars and sport stars have something much more intimate in common. Just ask Boston Celtics power forward Kris Humphries and rapper Kanye West, who were both in love with the same lady, Kim Kardashian, before 'Ye ultimately won out.Kanye revealed the love triangle on his hit "Way Too Cold," and even rapped, "Lucky I ain't have Jay drop him from the team," referring to Jay Z's co-ownership of the Nets at the time. But despite Yeezy's threat, Humphries signed a $24 million deal with the Nets in 2012 before being traded to Boston, and even tweeted about it, quoting Kanye's line mockingly. Jay Z vs. DeShawn Stevenson - When DeShawn Stevenson, then on the Washington Wizards, made some disparaging comments about Jay Z's BFF, Lebron James, Hov jumped in with a freestyle diss-track, "Blow the Whistle," which defended Bron-Bron.But apparently it's all water (and money) under the bridge, as Stevenson signed a one-year contract in 2011 worth $2.5 million with the New Jersey Nets, which Jay co-owned at the time.(Photos: Vince Bucci/PictureGroup; Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images)

Shaquille O'Neal vs. Kobe Bryant - This would've been just another beef between two dissatisfied former teammates until Shaq took it to the rap arena on stage at a Miami club in 2008 and spit a freestyle dissing Kobe. The highlight? "Kobe, tell me how my a-- taste."(Photos: Noel Vasquez/Getty Images; Jeff Gross/Getty Images)
