Joel Silver - Joel Silver produced The Matrix. The famed producer is one of the most prolific in Hollywood, putting out the next two installments of The Matrix as well as V for Vendetta and The Book of Eli. Gloria Foster - Film acting vet Gloria Foster starred as the Oracle in The Matrix. Foster launched her noteworthy career when she was cast in the 1964 groundbreaking film Nothing But a Man. Unfortunately, she died from complications due to diabetes in 2001, two years after appearing in The Matrix.
