The Replacements - Today (November 14) the NBA players rejected the latest offer from NBA owners. This move now brings the league closer to cancelling the 2011-12 season. But before David Stern and the owners get to that point we propose the idea of letting some of music's top all-stars fill the bill for the high-flying superstars who won't be able to take flight this season. Here are our favorite musicians who could lend some entertainment value to the league ballin’ on the court.

Bow Wow\r - Don't get it twisted, Like Mike wasn't just a movie. While Shad Moss may not have the magic moves of Calvin Cambridge on the court, he has shown in numerous celebrity games that he can ball. What up, Cavs?\r\r\r \r(Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

Cam'ron - The Harlem MC led his high school basketball team all the way to the state championship game as a sophomore, where he played at Madison Square Garden. The New York Knicks could use Cam’s hometown influence to attract their diehard fan base. (Photo: Scott Gries/Getty Images)

Drake\r - Drizzy famously played high school basketball star-turned-paraplegic Jimmy on TV show Degrassi before he got into the rap game. Owners should be wary about giving the injury-prone MC a long-term contract, though. A knee injury sustained during a pick-up game had him in a wheelchair in real life back in 2009.\r\r\r\r\r \r \r(Photo: Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images)

Justin Bieber\r - The pint-sized singer took home the MVP hardware at last year's NBA All Star celebrity game. Ask Common's ankles, which the Beibs broke with a mean crossover, if you think the little man doesn't have moves. The Toronto Raptors would be wise to sign the Biebs and Drake to form a star-studded backcourt.\r \r \r \r(Photo: Noel Vasquez/Getty Images)

Nelly - The former high school baseball star has shined in MTV's classic Rock'n'Jock games in the past. We have a feeling he still has a few moves left. (Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

Chris Brown - If you've ever seen Breezy dance, there's no denying his natural athleticism. His strong resemblance to Lakers guard Shannon Brown would make it easy for Mitch Kupchak to replace the high-flyer without fans noticing a thing. (Photo: INFphoto.com)

Kanye West - During the recording process of last year's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, 'Ye hit the court daily to stay in shape and focus his creative process. He's no Derrick Rose, but we're sure the Bulls would be able to sell a few Yeezy jerseys to the Chi-town faithful. Plus ‘Ye already has his own sneaker deal. Game - The Compton rapper has both the size and personality to be a superb rebounder. His long arms would snatch up everything that came near him and if his never ending one-sided beef with Jay-Z is any indication, he doesn't give up easy. (Photo: Annette Brown/Getty Images)
