Chafes Your Skin - Chafing is when your skin rubs together over time and gets irritated, red and even sometimes produces a rash. Makes It Hard to Breathe - Think how hard it is to breathe if your jeans or dress are too tight. Corsets can press hard on your body and can restrict your lungs, making it harder for you to breathe. They can also cause lung infections, induce acid reflux and make it hard for you to use the bathroom. (Photo: PhotoAlto/Odilon Dimier)
