Same Ol', Same Ol' - It happens to the best of us: you get so comfortable in a signature style that you can look up and find that you’ve been rocking it for months, even years. We get it, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but wouldn’t it be great to see some stars break out of their norm for once? \r\r(Photo: Kristian Dowling/PictureGroup)

Janelle Monáe - To be fair, this funky hit-maker has said that she approaches her signature black-and-white tuxedo as a “uniform” and we can dig her timeless statement. It would be exciting though to see her model more classic looks and show the rest of the girls that you can still be trendsetting and actually wear clothes. \r\r(Photo: Larry Busacca/Getty Images)

Cassie\r - It’s been two years since Cassie bravely shaved off half of her long locks, but hasn’t that side of her head gotten cold by now?  Plus, since so many other entertainers and women have hit their barber up for the same style, it’s looking pretty predictable. As a new face of beauty brand Carol’s Daughter, we’re ready to see this singer move on to the next innovative hairstyle. \r(Photo: Terrence Jennings/Picture Group)

Best Female R&B Artist - Rihanna - Five chart-topping singles ("S&M," "What's My Name?," "Only Girl [In the World]," "California King Bed," and "Man Down,") helped Rihanna seal the deal on winning this award.

Rihanna\r - Paging Ursula Stephens! We’ve always loved the trendy ‘dos that Rihanna’s hairstylist has created for her over the years. The fire-engine color in various lengths certainly made a Loud statement as she promoted her last album, but we hope someone gives Rih Rih the green light to give Ronald McDonald his look back once and for all.

Mariah Carey on Dining at A Restaurant Despite Protesters Picketing The Establishment - “Ok-obviously we didn't purposely dine at a restaurant w/a picket line ... So when you see a 'video' of me walking thru a bunch of picketers as they say 'Shhhhaaame on yoooou' please understand — we respect ... all people and have nothing but respect for those in the struggle.”\r (Photo: Jemal Countess/Getty Images)

Mariah Carey\r - Even though she’s 41, Mariah has managed to dress like a perpetual teenager for the past few decades with barely there hemlines, midriffs and accessories that would make the girls on the playground jealous. Now that she’s a mom, wouldn’t it be nice to see Mariah tackle being sexy and age appropriate? \r(Photo: Jemal Countess/Getty Images)

1. Rick Ross feat Styles P, "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" - "Aston Martin Music" and all three installments of "Maybach Music" show Rick's opulent, aspirational side. But "B.M.F." shows Rozay's dark side, portraying him as a ruthless street general. Eschewing the luxe, melodic production he uses so beautifully elsewhere, Ross teams up with Lex Luger to trunk-rattling effect, making Big Meech and Larry Hoover household names in the process. This is Ross and his Maybach Music brand at their most ferocious and determined. (Photo: Sean O'Kane/BET)

Rick Ross\r - Someone send Rozay to the nearest Big and Tall store so he can actually put some clothes on. We know Vibe put him on their “Sexy Issue” shirtless, but if we have to see his belly one more time we might grunt! Any top will do at this point; we’re not being picky. \r\r(Photo: Sean O'Kane for BET)

Lil Wayne\r - It’s a wonder that Wayne can even walk given the painted-on skinny jeans he’s taken a liking to lately, and it seems like he’s giving everyone a pass to take this trip to hipster-land. Nothing wrong with being fitted, but the rapper could stand to loosen up a bit.  \r\r(Photo: Phil McCarten/PictureGroup)

Lil' Kim - Lil' Kim is arguably the first hip hop artist to embrace the LGBT community. During this year's LGBT Pride in New York City, the Queen Bee was the ringmaster of the float for the annual LGBT Pride Parade.(Photo Credit: Harry Pluviose / Retna Ltd.)

Lil Kim\r - Care to join us in 2011? We still love Kim, but the only thing she has changed since her Hardcore days is her face. Perhaps she wouldn’t be fussing at the youngins for stealing her style if she would actually evolve it? The lycra jumpsuits, poom poom shorts and thigh high boots could stand to be left in the ‘90s. We’d love to see a stylist update this rapper's look.\r(Photo: Harry Pluviose/Retna Ltd.)
