ODB at the 1998 Grammy Awards - At the 1998 Grammys, the Wu Tang Clan was nominated for Best Rap Album and lost. But it was later, when the winner of the Song of the Year catagory was announced, that Wu member Ol' Dirty Bastard grabbed the mic to express his disappointment at Wu's loss. KRS-One Brings Thunder to P.M. Dawn - Anyone who knows hip hop music pioneer KRS-One (Kris Parker) knows he takes his title as "teacher" very seriously. Prince Be of early '90s alterna-rap group P.M. Dawn learned the hard way when he asked during an interview, "KRS... wants to be a teacher, but a teacher of what?" During a P.M. Dawn performance at a New York City club, Kris stormed the stage with his BDP posse, threw Prince Be off stage and proceeded to perform three of his own classics for the shocked crowd. Kanye West Interrupts Taylor Swift at the VMAs - When Taylor Swift beat out Beyoncé for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West hit the stage, grabbed the mic from Ms. Swift and gave the world a piece of his opinion. "I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!" Unfortunately, that defense of Bey turned Kanye into a piriah. Even President Obama had words for him.
