Now he's gotten the entire Winter 2014 cover to himself. Kendrick created his own story for the issue and titled it "Writer at War." J. Cole's Hip Hop Predictions - J. Cole talked out the controversy surrounding "Fire Squad," a track off his recently released album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, with Angie Martinez. He shut down rumors that the track is a diss to Eminem, of whom he's a big fan, and explained that the lines he spits stem from his observations of hip hop culture right now. He also added some predictions about the future of hip hop, saying, "I fast forward 20, 30 years from now, and I see hip hop being completely white."
