The Meaning Behind Her National Costume - Of her Miss Universe 2014 national costume, entitled “Jamania,” she says it depicts “the unparalleled fire and tenacity of the Jamaican spirit” embodied by greats such as Bob Marley and Grace Jones. “It is inspired by the Jamaican motto, ‘Out of Many, One People,’” drawing on “the cultural contributions made by the peoples who inhabited Jamaica through the centuries, such as the Taino Indians, the Spanish, the British, the Africans, Chinese and Indians,” she says. She’s Launching a Lifestyle Site - Kaci recently told the blog Kingston Belle that she’ll be launching her own lifestyle brand, Fenmade, very soon. “We’re kicking things off with a lifestyle blog written by myself where I’ll be blogging about fashion, beauty, travel and, of course, food! She's Faced Controversy - After being crowned Miss Universe Jamaica last year, critics argued that her lighter complexion wasn’t representative of the Jamaican people. “I’m not really affected by it because I haven’t been focusing on the negative comments,” she told On Stage TV. "I know they’re there, but I haven’t looked at any of them because I am Jamaican and we’re living in a country of one of many people.
