Bird Gang: Music Stars Flipping the Bird - This is dedicated to the Bird Gang. No, not Jim Jones' crew, but all the folks out who love flipping the bird. And these birds don't fly south for the winter. Music stars seem to be enthusiastic members of the not-so-exclusive club, which probably has the best, simplest gang sign in the world. This past Tuesday (Feb. 21), Adele flashed the finger onstage at the Brit Awards when her acceptance speech for British Album of the Year—her sixth award of the night—was cut off by the host. The acclaimed chanteuse says the gesture was directed at TV execs, explaining that she was about to thank the British public for all its support. But Adele is a newcomer to the crew—click on to see other musicians with itchy middle fingers.(Photo: PA PHOTOS /LANDOV)

M.I.A. - Pop singer, M.I.A., struck an offensive pose with Madonna and Nicki Minaj during their performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. While performing her verse on Madonna’s new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin,” M.I.A. extended her middle finger in the air as she rapped a barely disguised expletive, “I don’t give a (expletive).” NBC Network was late on its attempt to blur the obscene gesture during the live performance. NBC and NFL later apologized, but she is not the first celebrity to stir trouble with a middle finger.(Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage)
