Donald Sterling - When a full audio recording of Donald Sterling hit the net in April, shock and outrage followed. The then-Los Angeles Clippers owner could be heard in a recorded conversation with then-confidant V. Stiviano making racist remarks against African-Americans and bashing her for taking a picture with Magic Johnson. Following a prompt NBA investigation, league commissioner Adam Silver banned Sterling for life and fined him a maximum $2.5 million. Weeks ago, a judge denied Sterling's attempt to block wife Shelly Sterling's $2 billion sale of the Clippers to ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Ex-Yankees manager Billy Martin and former pinstripe slugger Dave Winfield were just two of many who felt Steinbrenner's wrath. Steinbrenner infamously hired and fired Martin a total of five times during an icy relationship. His dealings with former Yankee slugger Winfield were also notorious, as Steinbrenner reportedly was irked over the fact that Winfield exercised a "cost of living" stipulation to raise the value of his contract. "The Boss" tried to trade Winfield, but at the time, the slugger had the right to veto any such transaction. He even went as far as paying a gambler to get dirt on Winfield. Worst behavior!
