The Jew Tang Clan vs. The Wu-Tang Clan - Breakout star, anyone? Freaks and Geeks alum Seth Rogen's star-making role came by way of Knocked Up where he, errr, accidently knocked up Katherine Heigl. As the not-ready-to-be-a-father Ben Stone, Rogen made his loser character likeable. Armed with Knocked Up’s success, he, along with writing partner Evan Goldberg, co-wrote Superbad, which launched Jonah Hill’s career. On the Wu side, Meth was molded to be the group’s star. Why else would he be the only MC to have his own song (“M.E.T.H.O.D. Man”) on the Wu’s debut? After releasing successful solo albums, Meth joined forces with like-minded MC Redman to release albums and even a movie. Yet Meth’s biggest hit to date is the Grammy Award-winning "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By” with Mary J. Blige. Word to the half ‘fro/half cornrow look! Jonah Hill/Method Man - Jonah Hill and Method Man have more in common than meets the eye and they both roll with a crew of talented individuals. Meth’s Wu-Tang Clan is one of hip hop’s most influential groups of all time and spawned multiple stellar solo careers including Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and RZA. As an ode to the Wu and a nod to their religion, Hill and his gang of comedy writers, actors and directors call themselves the Jew Tang Clan. The JTC have been responsible for hilarious flicks Superbad, Bridesmaids, Knocked Up and more.

Judd Apatow/RZA - Judd Apatow knew he had a talented group once he created the cult hit Freaks and Geeks. The Queens, NY native rounded up his funnymen of the Jewish faith and set to redefine the bromantic comedy — man hugs and all! He produced Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, directed/produced and wrote The 40-Year-Old Virgin and produced this year’s megahit Bridesmaids. Similarly to Apatow, RZA is responsible for gathering eight of the illest MCs New York has ever produced. With his meticulously produced Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), RZA instantly leaped into the production elite. He proceeded to craft and mold solo projects for the rest of the crew, including Method Man, GZA, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon. He’s broadened his reach by producing film soundtracks for Kill Bill and others. Bawses! Judd Apatow’s Wu Name: Ol’ Filthy Sweaty Bastard

Paul Rudd/GZA - Paul Rudd started his career as your cliché leading man in teen movies such as Clueless. After years of wallowing in teen/college age movie purgatory he reinvented his career with Anchorman. He instantly became the JTC’s go-to leading man in I Love You, Man and had supporting roles in films like Knocked Up. GZA/Genius’s debut on Cold Chillin’ Records, Words From the Genius, was a solid album but it didn’t fully represent GZA’s voice as an artist. The RZA-produced Liquid Swords introduced the world to one of the game’s most intricate wordsmiths ever. Paul Rudd’s Wu Name: Contagious Specialist

Jay Baruchel/Inspectah Deck - Jay Baruchel is the JTC’s hidden gem. Flying underneath the radar, Baruchel has appeared and stolen scenes in Oscar-winning films (Million Dollar Baby), comedy blockbusters (Tropic Thunder) and children-friendly flicks (How to Train Your Dragon). Inspectah Deck has been hijacking songs since “Protect Ya Neck.” Deck can match wits with the best of them (Big Pun’s “Tres Leches”) and murder the feeble on a track. Jay Baruchel’s Wu Name: Optimistic Lyricist
