Lift Every Voice Welcomes Tami Roman

Tami Roman talks faith on Lift Every Voice w/ Fonzworth.

Drama Queen — Tami Roman - What a comeback for reality TV star Tami Roman! After not having seen her for more than a decade since her stint on season 2 of the Real World Los Angeles, Roman returned with a vengeance. After two kids and a divorce, Roman appeared on VH1’s Basketball Wives: Miami and gave the ladies hell. From her beef with Evelyn Lozada to the slap heard round the world doled out on castmate Meeka Claxton — Roman solidified her place as the grand dame of reality TV drama. But she’d better watch the throne, Chrissy Lampkin on Love and Hip Hop is definitely vying for her spot.(Photo: Paras Griffin /Landov)
Tami Roman - No one was more surprised than the Basketball Wives star herself when she suffered a mild heart attack in 2012, at the age of 41. Luckily, Roman got herself proper medical care and she was back on the scene — and looking fab — in a matter of days. Could her stressful lifestyle (hey, being on a reality show is no Hawaiian vacation) have contributed to this otherwise fit gal's health scare? (Photo: Michael Underwood/PictureGroup)
Tami Roman - Call this actress a reality TV pioneer starting out on the second season of MTV’s Real World in 1993. Her acting career hasn’t produced any majorly memorable moments, but her tumultuous return to reality via Basketball Wives gave the TV genre its new reigning queen of bitchie-ness. The ingredients?  Tami plus alcohol equals an angry drunken fight. After taking a long hiatus from reality TV, Tami's recently returned to the Basketball Wives cast and is already putting her fists to use. (Photo: Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images)
Expanding the Brand - With past financial troubles stemming from her divorce, Tami Roman is always looking to expand her brand and bank accounts. Aside from reality TV, she also is the face of the Tami Roman Hair Collection, a line of hair weaves for women of color.
