The Women of Bad Boy - Its be a remarkable two decade run of succes for Diddy's Bad Boy Records. And along the way it was once said, behind every bad boy there's a bad girl. Diddy made sure that female presence on the seminal music label was stacked with talented noisemakers. Though the glory days have passed for some and are on the horizon for others, let’s take a look back at the ladies who rock with Diddy, now and then.

Cassie - When 25 year-old Cassie Ventura gained public attention, it wasn’t in the traditional format, on the radio or even TV—it was on the web. She and producing partner/rumored love-interest Ryan Leslie released the track “Me&U” with a Janet Jackson “Pleasure Principle” inspired video and the moment it went viral. Diddy quickly singed the fresh talent to Bad Boy Records and Cassie was a certified star. Since then, Cassie has been a style maven. When the stunner tweeted a pic of herself with one side of her head shaved, every girl in town followed suit. Now Cassie has returned to her modeling roots as the face of Sean John, her new-rumored love interest’s Sean “Diddy” Combs clothing line and Carol’s Daughter. The singer has dropped a track here and there but we’re still waiting for her new album, to be released on Bad Boy. (Photo: Courtesy Bad Boy Records)

Faith Evans - Releasing her platinum selling solo debut, Faith in 1995, singer/song-writer Faith Evans came to Bad Boy after contributing background vocals and song writing to Mary J. Blige’s classic My Life. Once there, Diddy signed Evans, who became “The First Lady of Bad Boy.” Then Evans married Bad Boy’s jewel, The Notorious BIG, which led to more turmoil but also the beautiful tribute “Missing You,” a tribute to Biggie’s death. Total - The New Jersey all-girl trio made their debut on the Notorious B.I.G’s, first single “Juicy.” Kim, Keisha and Pam released their first LP, Total in 1996 to platinum success due in large part to their hit singles, “No One Else,” “Can’t U See,” and “Kissing You.” Their second album Kim, Keisha and Pam, only went gold but earned the ladies their first single in on Billboard’s Top 10. The girls never recorded another album, though they appeared on the soundtracks to a few films, like Soul Food. Only Kima attempted to record again, this time with her sister, rapper Vida, while Pam found religion and Keisha married Omar Epps. (Photo: Courtesy Bad Boy Records)

Danity Kane - The female quintet formed from Diddy’s reality series with MTV’s Making the Band experienced great success. The cross-promotion of the series along with their records proved a great formula as the girls reached multi-platinum status on both of their albums, Danity Kane (2006) and Welcome to the Dollhouse (2008). Fans witnessed the disbandment during the series, with Aubrey O’Day and D.Woods defecting. Remaining members Andrea Fimbres and Shannon Bex have never been heard from again, while Dawn Richards joined Diddy in his new trio, Diddy Dirty Money. (Photo: Courtesy Bad Boy Records)
