Don't Come for Me - Sticks and stones can break a lot of bones, but sometimes words hurt, too. While a lot of celebrities claim they never read the comments left by their social media followers, the regularity with which stars clap back tells another story. Hey, we don't blame them — people can be mean! Here's a list of stars who have lashed out on social media. (Photos from left: Earl Gibson III/Getty Images for BET, Neilson Barnard/Getty Images)

Chrissy Teigen - John Legend's wife has the tightest Instagram game in the business, but sometimes when the comments get too mean-spirited, she has to say enough is enough. Last year, Teigen called out one of her followers for fat-shaming her when the troll made fun of her weight, and just last week she took to Twitter to defend her love of "Doritos dust" after some followers accused her of being pro-eating disorder. "I wasn't honestly saying licking the seasoning off doritos is my idea of diet, you morons," she wrote. (Photo: Bennett Raglin/WireImage)

Kim Kardashian - Kim K.'s Twitter rants seem to be a byproduct of pregnancy. In June, just after announcing her baby news, Kim went on such an angry rager on everything from body shaming to her busy schedule that even Twitter representatives thought her account had been hacked. "#JustPregnantKeeks," she explained. (Photo: Kim Kardashian via Instagram)

Raven-Symoné - The View host has faced her share of backlash from social media over her controversial quotes, but last month, after she sided with the "All Lives Matter" crowd, she made it clear she doesn't give a damn what Black Twitter has to say. "I don't care," she said before repeating her point. (Photo: Omar Reyes /Landov)

Nicki Minaj - We can't figure out why anybody would dare troll Nicki on social media — death wish? — but occasionally it happens, and the rapper typically wastes no time clapping back. Just this week, when she posted about Straight Outta Compton's record-breaking weekend and said that Black films are "more than deserving" of being priorities in Hollywood, a follower accused her of racism. "More deserving?? What happened to equality??" wrote the poor fool, to which Nicki swiftly responded, "I have to block u for not knowing how to read at your age. I said more THAN deserving of this. Stupid." (Photo: Nicki Minaj via Instagram)

Shonda Rhimes - Don't come for Shonda! Whether you're a writer for the New York Times or an anonymous commenter on social media, the TV titan won't blink before putting you in your place. The mogul clapped back at a homophobic fan who took issue with gay love scenes in her tentpole shows Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder last year with the most perfect response ever: "There are no GAY scenes," she wrote. "There are scenes with people in them." Preach! (Photo: Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images)

Rihanna - Rihanna is a dangerous target when it comes to Twitter warfare, and she won't hesitate to use social media as a deadly weapon if you make the mistake of coming for her. RiRi has put more people in their place online than we can even list here. Safe to say, her comebacks are legendary and her list of casualties is very, very long. Madonna - Her Madjesty posted a lengthy Instagram rant last year after tracks from her then-unreleased album Rebel Heart leaked online, saying that "we live in a world that discriminates against women." The fact that the tracks she released the right way, on iTunes, failed to chart only made her more angry. (Photo: Mike Coppola/Getty Images)

Charles Blow - The New York Times columnist is almost as well-known for his Twitter rants as he is for his think pieces. The writer has called out everyone from the Connecticut police officer who harassed his son to pretty much every Republican presidential hopeful in the field on social media, and even his followers who dare to troll. "Why are you writing about something so mundane?" one asked this week. "Because I registered this Twitter acct under MY name, not YOURS," Blow responded. Ouch! (Photo: Charles Blow via Twitter)

Derek Luke - The actor does not seem like the type to engage in social media catfights, but Luke couldn't help himself when he noticed some of his followers taking issue with the fact that his wife is not Black. “I never usually entertain the opinions of others because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. (Positive or Negative),” Luke wrote in an Instagram post alongside a photo with his wife, who is Latina. “But we’re in the year of 2015 & when should it be a ‘problem’ to date outside your race? Why is that an issue AGAIN?” (Photo: D Dipasupil/FilmMagic)
