P. Diddy Stalker Arrested - Diddy was in the news this week but not for anything he did. A Florida woman who claimed to be the wife of Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested after making two visits to a Long Island, N.Y., house she wrongly believed was the home of the hip-hop mogul and superstar. Cemelia Green has pleaded not guilty to criminal mischief and trespassing and has been freed on $5,000 bail.

Child Services Investigate Katherine Jackson - An attorney for Michael Jackson's mother confirms that child service workers are investigating the presence of a stun gun at the Jackson family home. However, he says the late singer's children were never exposed to the weapon. Attorney Adam Streisand confirmed the investigation Tuesday but said the mail-order stun gun delivered to the home was confiscated before any harm was done.

Landslide Hits Uganda - Rivers of mud swamped houses, stores and at least one school after heavy rains in this Central African country. The disaster killed at least 70 people. 250 more are still missing, officials and survivors said Tuesday. Rains that began Monday evening continued through the night, triggering landslides in the Bududa region, 170 miles east of the East of the country’s capital, Kampala.

Michelle Obama Tours Mississippi Schools - First lady Michelle Obama visited Jackson, Miss., America’s fattest city. The First Lady watched children play on swings and a jungle gym at a school whose programs have been lauded for fighting obesity by keeping kids active. It was the first of her two stops in Mississippi, which ranks No. 1 in childhood and adult obesity, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

3 L.A. Teachers Removed - Three Los Angeles elementary school teachers accused of giving children portraits of O.J. Simpson, Dennis Rodman and RuPaul to carry in a Black History Month parade have been removed from their classrooms, a school district spokeswoman said. The incident occurred at Wadsworth Avenue Elementary School in South Los Angeles, where the student body is more than 90 percent Latino.

Obama Calls for Up or Down Vote - In a strongly worded statement, President Barack Obama urged Congress Wednesday to vote “up or down” on sweeping health care legislation in the next few weeks, endorsing a plan that denies Senate Republicans the right to kill the bill by stalling with a filibuster. “I don’t see how another year of negotiations would help. Moreover, the insurance companies aren’t starting over,” Obama said, rejecting Republican calls to begin anew on an effort to remake the health care system.

Keyshia Cole Welcomes Son - R&B star and BET reality show personality Keyshia Cole and boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Daniel Gibson, announced the birth of their son. Cole's publicist, Tresa Sanders, said in a statement to The Associated Press that Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. was born Tuesday evening. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Rihanna Sued By Personal Trainer - TMZ reported that R&B star Rihanna’s personal trainer, Cindy Percival, filed a lawsuit against her. The suit, filed in L.A. County Superior court, claimed the singer owes her $26,144.14 in unpaid wages for 2009. According to case documents Cindy claims she was hired to perform “exclusive personal training services” for Rihanna at a cost of $1,500 per day.

Gay Marriage Becomes Official in D.C. - Gay couples in D.C. are celebrating – and lining up to get married at the city’s court houses for permission to get married. Washington will be the sixth place in the nation where gay marriages are legal. Due to a waiting period, couples won't be able to marry in until March 9.

Arenas Makes Public Appearance - Gilbert Arenas is talking. He made a public appearance to give out faux-fur coats to women in need on behalf of PETA. Arenas also said he's "staying in shape and finding causes to help, without all this publicity behind it." The athlete who used to make news regularly via blog, Twitter and outlandish comments in the locker room was surprised to find a reporter at the PETA event.

DMX Plans Gospel Rap Extravaganza - 1990s rap star DMX is planning a "gospel rap extravaganza.” A flyer at his church in Glendale, Ariz., said the event at a local high school is for a good cause. According to TMZ, the performance is part of a fundraiser for his Morning Star Sanctified Church. "This is an opportunity for me to use my gifts to benefit a good cause. My music offers hope! God has been good to me," the rapper said.

Lee Daniels Tapped for HBO Pilot - Variety is reporting Oscar-nominated filmmaker Lee Daniels is working with author Amy Bloom to develop an HBO drama series about a multi-generational, multi-racial family living in Philadelphia. Jim Clyburn Honors IRS Employee - A few weeks ago, an independent IT contractor flew his private plane into an IRS office in an Austin, Texas building. One of the victims was an IRS employee: 68-year-old Vernon Hunter. Hunger died in the fire but his wife, who also works in the same building, survived. “The fact of the matter is that the gentleman that lost his life in that building,” said U.S. House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, “was from Orangeburg, South Carolina, that I proudly represent in this body."

Ex-Birmingham Mayor Sentenced - Former Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for taking some $235,000 in bribes in return for lucrative bond work. U.S. District Judge Scott Coogler imposed the sentence Friday. Langford was convicted on 60 felony counts in October and removed from office.

No Charges for Naomi Campbell - A man hired to drive Naomi Campbell told police she assaulted him from the back seat of a luxury sport utility vehicle on Tuesday before hopping out and running away, but the supermodel likely won't face criminal charges. Police consulted with the Manhattan district attorney's office and issued a harassment report, which doesn't carry any penalty, because no officer witnessed what took place between the driver and Campbell, whose feisty temper has led to previous legal troubles.
