Miss Me - Drake's been linked to Rihanna and Teyana Taylor, but the idea of he and Nicki as a couple sounded preposterous until he planted the idea in our heads on "Miss Me" from his album <em>Thank Me Later</em>. He raps: "I love Nicki Minaj, I told her I'd admit it/I hope one day we get married just to say we f***in' did it/And girl, I'm f***in' serious /I’m with it if you with it.”

Crush on You - Only days after “Miss Me” leaked this past June, Drake recalled the first time he laid eyes on Nicki’s curvy physique. "Me and Nicki have a really playful relationship," Drake told DJ Envy. "When I was on tour ... I saw Nicki for the first time and, like, literally fell in love. She had this snap-back hat on that said 'Minaj.' She used to wear that every single day. She was like a theater student and she was so cold at rapping."

Un-Thinkable - To let Nick tell it, and later deny it, Drake told her he wrote Alicia Keys' "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)" with her in mind. You know what else he told me he wrote for me?" she told Complex magazine. "The Alicia Keys song 'I'm Ready.' I happen to love the song.’" She later downplayed the claim during an interview with Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97.

Put It In a Love Song - Drake doesn't break character much. Sticking to his guns, he confirmed to BET.com that he wrote “Un-Thinkable” for Nicki. "It is [about Minaj], I’m not gonna lie," he said. "The concept came from a conversation that we had, or conversations we have.”

The Graham Bunch - Nicki went from mocking Drake's "i-love-Nicki" talk to planting seeds herself. I just really have a special place for him. ’”
