Gone, But Never Forgotten - No other person influenced Tupac Shakur quite like his mother, Afeni Shakur. After the first year of her son’s birth, Afeni renamed her son to the moniker he’d be referred to worldwide. Her activism would trickle into her son’s songs and lyrics. And she was the person who took it upon herself to make sure Tupac’s legacy lived on with the Tupac Shakur Foundation. Yesterday night the world lost Afeni. Let’s remember her with the best Tupac mama shout-outs. RIP, Afeni Shakur. – Jon Reyes (Photo from left: Ron Galella/WireImage, Annette Brown/Getty Images)
