Bernard Hopkins Rebrands Himself as The Alien - Before facing Karo Murat during their light-heavyweight fight in October 2013, Hopkins rebranded himself as "The Alien," stating that he's not from this world. With his no-nonsense approach, B-Hop controlled the entire fight en route to a unanimous decision. He was 48 at the time to Murat's 30. Forty's the new 30? (Photo: Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)

Dominates Tavoris Cloud, Blasts Don King - "Who would ever think in anybody's wildest dream — I wouldn't bet on it — that Bernard Hopkins would be the one, that put Don King out of business," B-Hop told the press after his unanimous decision, a March 2013 victory over Tavoris Cloud, a 30-year-old boxer represented by King. Hopkins would add that the boxing world can thank him for sticking around long enough to eradicate King. Only in America! (Photo: Frank Franklin II/AP Photo)

Unanimous Decision Win Over Jean Pascal - Bernard Hopkins vs. Jean Pascal in December 2010 ended in a controversial majority draw, triggering a rematch just five months later. Hopkins would use the second opportunity to score a clear victory in a street fight of a match, showing he can still slug it out if need be. (Photo: Ryan Remiorz, The Canadian Press/AP Photo)

Avenges 17-Year Loss to Roy Jones Jr. - B-Hop never forgot the 1993 loss he suffered at the hands of Roy Jones Jr. The bitterness due to that defeat would only serve as fuel in April 2010, when Hopkins finally avenged the loss and beat his rival Roy Jones Jr. Although both men look fatigued in the fight and it wasn't close to being a memorable performance by Hopkins, the Executioner still got the 'W' he wanted most. (Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

50th Career Win - Weeks shy of his 45th birthday, Hopkins handled Mexican fighter Enrique Ornelas in a landslide unanimous decision. Making the victory sweeter was the fact that it marked B-Hop's 50th career win and was held in front of his hometown fans in Philadelphia. Philly, stand up! Class in Session: Schooling Kelly Pavlik - Bernard Hopkins was a huge underdog walking into his October 2008 bout with Kelly Pavlik, who was thought of as the next great light heavyweight in boxing at the time. But instead of the young stud rolling over the aging veteran, Hopkins was once again able to turn back the hands of time and school Pavlik through 12 rounds in what ended as an unexpectedly-easy unanimous decision. Afterward, a teary Hopkins called it his best performance yet. Class is in session courtesy of the ageless wonder.     (Photo: Jeff Zelevansky/Getty Images)

Executioner Outsmarts Winky Wright - With Winky Wright, Hopkins faced a fighter just as crafty and nearly as defensive, but B-Hop proved to be flat-out better, outpointing Wright en route to a unanimous decision back in July 2007.  (Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

B-Hop Moves Up to Light Heavyweight, Blasts Tarver - After dropping back-to-back controversial middleweight bouts to Jermain Taylor in 2005, Hopkins surprised many boxing fans and media alike when he moved up to the light heavyweight division to take on Antonio Tarver. Hopkins had promised that the June 2006 fight would be his last. "Magic Man" Tarver had just come off dominating victories over Glen Johnson and Roy Jones Jr., but didn't seem to have the right counters for Hopkins, who ESPN raved was "ruthlessly efficient," taking it to Tarver en route to a unanimous decision. Of course, this wouldn't be Hopkins's final match after all. He proved — and is still proving — to have plenty left. (Photo: Al Bello/Getty Images)
