Dallas Mavericks at San Antonio Spurs, October 28 - The NBA’s 2014-15 season tips off in a huge way when the Dallas Mavericks visit the defending league champion San Antonio Spurs. After watching the Spurs receive their rings, let’s see how the Mavs take it to the champs. Dallas pushed Tim Duncan and the Spurs to seven games in the Western Conference quarterfinals last season. Beating them on opening night this season would send the early message that the Mavs are ready to rumble in the wild wild West.(Photos from Left: CSM /Landov, Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)

New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers, October 30 - Just imagine how the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, will be rocking in LeBron James’s first official game back with the Cavaliers. From King James’s traditional pre-game chalk routine to the opening tip-off and his first bucket, Cleveland is going to be on fire a day before Halloween. Upping the ante is the fact that James will be up against New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony. The friends were second and third in scoring last season with Anthony averaging 27.4 points per game to James’s 27.1. Can’t wait for the whistle to blow on this one.(Photos from Left: Harry How/Getty Images, Doug Pensinger/Getty Images)

Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Clippers, October 30 - The Oklahoma City Thunder-Los Angeles Clippers Western Conference semifinals last season presented some of the best playoff basketball of the year. All the star power will be back, including OKC’s Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook and the Clippers’ Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. Can the Clips extract a little revenge after losing the series in six games or will KD flex some MVP muscle over his opponents?(Photos from left: Scott Halleran/Getty Images, Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls, October 31 - Let’s call it like we see it — this Cleveland Cavaliers-Chicago Bulls matchup may be an early preview to the Eastern Conference Finals…especially if Derrick Rose is able to stay healthy. If trade reports pan true and Kevin Love joins the Cavs, then this game will have extra intrigue, as the Bulls made a late push to land the All-Star power forward. There’s never any love lost, when these teams meet, though.(Photos from left: Doug Pensinger/Getty Images, Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)
