Teen Opens First Sneaker Pawn Shop - Chase Reed, a 10th grader at Frederick Douglass Academy in Harlem, launched a sneaker pawn shop in New York City. The idea came to him when he borrowed $50 from his father to purchase a pair of shoes. His father held the shoes as collateral until he got his $50 back.
