Traded to the Lakers - Odom was traded to the Lakers in 2004, after his season with Miami. One Big Happy Family - Before there was Khloé, there was Liza Morales. Odom’s ex-fiancé was his high school sweetheart and the mother of his children, Destiny, 15, Lamar Jr., 11, and Jayden, who died at six months of sudden infant death syndrome in June 2006. A Turn for the Worse - In a trade that he was unhappy with, Odom was acquired by the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. Still mourning his late cousin, Odom failed to perform well on the team.
