All Eyes on T.I. ... No, Really Though - All eyes will be on T.I. this New Years. But we’re not talking about his fans. The Grand Hustle general will be monitored by Federal agents while he performs at the Gansevoort in Miami next week. As a provision of his temporary release, the rapper is required to have Federal security whenever he performs outside of the state of Georgia. He is scheduled to begin his one-year prison sentence for felony weapons charges sometime next year.

Nah, Not Jay and Mary - Just as both were sitting pretty at the end of fabulous years, Jay-z and Mary J. Blige were listed among the names in a suit against superproducer Rodney Jerkins. Jermaine Jumpp and Michael C. Adams are claiming that Jerkins stole a beat they submitted to him on a CD in 2001 that sounded an awful lot like Mary J’ “Enough Cryin”, which appeared on her 2005 The Breakthrough album that same year. Neither Jigga nor Mary J. had any comment.

Thomas and his brother Padron followed T.I. and his crew from a Cincinnati nightclub, leading to the highway shoot-out between the two groups that killed Johnson and injured several others.

Edolphus Towns will lend the Obamas a hand as Reform Chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee for the US House of Representatives. As part of the new position, Towns will make sure that the President-elect doesn’t climb into bed with the private sector. He’s also make sure that Federal employees rights aren’t violated and will try to get Washington, DC it’s long-awaited right to vote in Congress.

Cleared - After more than a week of probes, investigators have found no evidence of wrongdoing in President-elect Obama’s relationship with Illinois Governor Rob Blagojevich, who was caught red-handed on Federal wiretaps discussing his plans for selling Obama’s Senate seat to the highest bidder. Blagojevich is alleged to have a history of making “pay for play” deal for position in Illinois state government.
