Banks Apology Bank - Azealia Banks’s history with apologies is just as extensive and convoluted as her political views. In the short span of the six years Banks has been on the “music-making” radar, she’s piled on the controversy — mostly in the form of social media rants. That has inevitably resulted in some hindsight apologies, from both her and others. Just recently she blamed biology during an apology for seemingly going after former boy-bander Zayn Malik. Biology is to blame - In August 2016 she blamed PMS for her “Jekyll and Hyde” ways – this time around referring to when she compared recording artist Zayn to a trans-man.(Photos from left: WENN, Azealia Banks via Instagram)

Finally a real apology... sort of - In May 2016, after an extremely hateful rant against various public figures including Zayn, she finally apologized to the world but not to those she directly attacked: "I want to extend my sincerest apologies to the world. Employing racial/sexual slurs/stereotypes in attempts to make fun of or degrade another person or group is absolutely unacceptable and it is not fair or fun for anyone."(Photos from left: WENN, Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images)

When she used someone else’s apology as bait - During the summer of 2015, Action Bronson apologized to Ghostface Killah for some comments he had made (Ghostface did not accept). Azealia used the whole ordeal as an opportunity to go on a Twitter rant that started with: “I would love to stab action Bronson in his stomach and watch his guts spill to his feet. I hate b**ch n****s.”(Photos from left: Stuart Wilson/Getty Images, Kevin Winter/Getty Images, Joshua Blanchard/Getty Images for Mountain Dew)

Because she didn't read - There’s the time Banks didn’t fully read an article that was labeled as satire and called for Palin to be gang raped. She apologized, obviously, but blamed New York City for her tirade: “In my honest defense, I was completely kidding. I happen to have a really crass, New York City sense of humor, and regularly make silly jokes in attempts make light of situations which make me uncomfortable.”(Photos from left: WENN, Larry Busacca/Getty Images)
