Music Beefs We’re Over

It's time for these artists to call a truce.

Music Beefs We're Over - Taylor Swift is still bringing up that 2009 VMA moment. She recently sent her tour mate a bottle of jam with a "I'ma let you finish" joke attached. He posted it to Instagram and it became viral... And Taylor, we really want you to have this moment, but Internet memes have already made the best jokes of all time. Check out these other musical beefs that are just too hard to chew on.(Photo: Christopher Polk/Getty Images)

Meek Mill vs. Cassidy - As a young unknown, Meek Mill challenged battle-tested Cassidy to a $100,000 throw down. It never occurred. Instead there were a few lines written from each about the other, with Cass throwing a little salt in the beef with his Philly brethren on his five-minute freestyle response to Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse. "I'll be happy to compete/you seen what happened to Meek," he said. But really, this loaf never produced good music on either end, so it's better they get back to making music together.(Photos from left: Randy Smith/BET, John Ricard / BET)

Foxy Brown vs. Lil Kim - Real fans of Foxy and Kim never wanted this to go down, because they started as friends, back in high school, and were even planning to collaborate. But once they got into separate camps, Foxy with Jay Z and Kim with Biggie, and then released their debut albums within a week of each other, hopes of getting these two on the same track faded. Fabolous recently tried to at least get them on the same stage, but, as Foxy said, things need to be worked out behind the scenes first.(Photos from left: Larry Busacca/Getty Images, John Ricard/BET)

Waka Flocka Flame vs. Gucci Mane - These two have let this beef marinate, bake and are now trying to go in for the sear. But their friendship has already survived so much that no one wants to see this served up, especially since it's not yielding great music, just interesting tweets and a dash of crowd-hyping.(Photos from Left: Cindy Ord/Getty Images, Brad Barket/PictureGroup)

A$AP Rocky/ SpaceGhostPurp - A$AP Rocky and SpaceGhostPurrp both had an ear for spacey production and early '90s Southern rap, so it's only right that the two have collaborated frequently — highlighted by the SGP-produced Rocky standout cut "Keep It G." But, given the rap world's intense competition, it's also no surprise that the two started beefing in 2012. Rocky and SGP exchanged words via Twitter, videos and the press after a fight between their entourages.(Photos: Theo Wargo/Getty Images; David Wolff - Patrick/Redferns via Getty Images)

A$AP Rocky vs. SpaceGhostPurrp - A$AP Rocky said he used to share a dinner plate with Purrp and they were even on one of Rocky's breakout tracks together. Then Purrp said someone from A$AP jumped his "cuzin," and that was the end of that. There's been some Twitter beefin' since and Rocky took a lyrical shot on his Long.Live.A$AP, but now that he's signed — there's levels to this, right? — it's best that he leaves it alone. Besides, Purrp has been wanting to focus on production and get out of the "shady a-- rap game."(Photos from left: Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Samsung,David Wolff - Patrick/Redferns via Getty Images)

Soulja Boy vs. Chief Keef - Things unraveled for collaborators Soulja Boy and Chief Keef when someone from Keef's GBE crew tweeted about snatching Soulja's chain. The "Crank That" rapper responded directly via social media and Keef joined in too. But these two are both so proudly non-lyrical that we're not even interested in them battling (just to keep it three hunna).(Photos from left: Mark Davis/Getty Images for TV Guide, Johnny Nunez/WireImage)

Belafonte vs. Jay Z - Harry Belafonte is feuding with Jay Z over the lack of political participation by entertainers like the hip hop mogul  and his wife, Beyoncé. "You’re this civil rights activist and you just big’d up the white guy against me in the white media," Jay Z responded.    (Photos from left: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images, Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images)

Jay Z vs. Harry Belafonte - Harry Belafonte called out a generation of game changers for not making meaningful moves, naming Jay and Bey, specifically. Jay was peeved, especially for dragging his wife into it, so he wrote a song about it, "Nickles and Dimes." Decent song, but we still can't see Belafonte remixing "Day-O" just to "Ether" him, so we'll agree with Oprah on this one and call for this beef to be squashed.(Photos from left: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images, Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images)

Lupe Fiasco vs. The World - Lupe Fiasco's got a bone to pick with you. Yes, you. Everybody. Anybody can get it, even — no, especially — President Obama. And Chief Keef. And Kendrick Lamar. Pete Rock. His label. Anybody on Twitter. But we all just want Lupe to make music. We like his music.(Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim - Celebrity faces are recognized the world over, but some give us serious déjà vu. Our gallery of celebrity look-a-likes starts with these two queens of hip-hop, who seem to share a stylist, but they won't be collaborating on a record anytime soon. Kim has called out Minaj for biting her style and accused the young rapper of failing to pay proper respect. Minaj threw some un-subtle shade at the Queen Bee at the 2015 BET Awards, implying that she "gave up" on her dream. Ironically, they not only have a similar look, but matching tempers as well.(Photos from left: Hall/Pena, PacificCoastNews.com, Michael Stewart/WireImage)

Nicki Minaj vs. Lil Kim - Lil Kim has every right to be perturbed by Nicki Minaj for not paying proper homage, but truthfully, Kim don't want no parts of Roman in a lyrical battle. Let's keep this one to a side-eye contest, ladies. Or better yet, revive "Ladies Night" with a new version that includes Foxy and even adds Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks for good measure.(Photos from left: Hall/Pena, PacificCoastNews.com, Michael Stewart/WireImage)

Rihanna, Karreuche Tran

Rihanna vs. Karrueche Tran - These two have thrown Twitter shade at each other as part of a messy love triangle, but since there's yet to be a runway walk-off and Chris Brown is no longer on Rih Rih's radar, this beef should just be stricken from the menu.(Photos from left: Rob Kim/Getty Images, FayesVision/WENN.com)
