The 2016 GRAMMY Awards - The award show that's all about music excellence went all out in pairing performers that would get us talking. LL Cool J, of course, took his hosting duties like the seasoned pro he always is. We got an incredible performance by Kendrick Lamar and other artists. Sadly, we were also reminded of how many great artists we lost over the year with many tribute performances. Each of these artists put in their own version of popular songs by the singer/songwriter. Kendrick on Fire - In what stood as the most visually and substantial performance of the night's telecast, Kendrick Lamar performed cuts off To Pimp a Butterfly, including "The Blacker the Berry" and "Alright." Backed by a set filled with bars and band members dressed in prison uniforms, the rapper delivered a fiery performance.
