Meek's Story - Rick Ross revealed that Meek Mill may have to serve his entire six-month bid after several attempts to grant the Philly MC early release for a parole violation never came to pass.Keeping his young protégé’s name ringing in the streets, Ross explained, “I feel that we’ve got our hopes and spirits up on several occasions and we were let down so I said I wouldn’t feed into that. At the end of the day, the judge said it was potentially up to six months. She wanted to sit him down and give him certain courses that she felt that he needed to go over and, like I told him, ‘We not gon' fight the system. We gon' work with her,’ and whatever she need and what she’s asking for so the homey can get home as soon as possible.’" (Photo: Shareif Ziyadat/FilmMagic)

Drop When I Want - Rick Ross just dropped his seventh album and it marks the second album he’s dropped in 2014. Only certain greats like DMX and Jay Z have released full new projects within a year’s time and Ross drew on them for inspiration. “That was one of the reasons, to be in the class with the some of the greats. Why not flood the block. I wouldn’t necessarily call them brother albums but just two albums in one year and I just wanted to make sure that they both played their part. Master Mind was definitely a more soulful and wordy album and Hood Billionaire is more 808 bass heavy…club feel, let’s have a good time.” (Photo: Tom Meinelt / Splash News)

Reebok Been Back...U.O.E.N.O. - Ross hasn’t been quiet about his weight loss and Reebok helping him with his cross-fit exercise regime. Although he wouldn’t get into details, it was clear that he and the sports apparel brand were back on good terms after they released him from his endorsement contract last year over his controversial date rape lyrics off Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” “I been on my Ross fit. Just working out, it’s really cross fit but you just might hit a blunt in the middle of a sit-up every now and then. It’s all love. We still shinning. I had two seizures and that’s what made me get on my A-game. That’s what made me start eating a little bit better, eating pears and fruits, and I had to get me a chef. That coincided with the workout and I’m not trying to get no particular weight."  (Photo: Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images for BET)

No Turning Back - Former drug kingpin turned community activist Freeway Rick Ross has filed several lawsuits the past few years over the rapper heisting his name, but recently extended the olive branch to work with the MC to help bring about a change in the hip hop culture. The MMG boss shot down those plans immediately stating, "Nah, ain’t nothing to come together about. He do him. That’s what bustas do. Throw your lawsuit on the grass and leave it there.” The Miami MC further dug into Freeway Rick Ross by insinuating that he was a snitch. “If you was who you say you was, when you got out we could have talked about that. We could have did that off the rip and we talk about a lot of books and this and that’s going on with him but they don’t mention the 40 people he testified on and sent to prison for life. That’s the information I seen because of lawsuits."  (Phot...

Friends and Foes - Ross had a few issues in Detroit earlier this year that caused him to skip a performance and rapper Trick Trick declaring the city a no fly zone for the Bawse. Ross downplayed the incident as he stated, "Nothing to conversate, I’m getting money." He also discussed mending his relationship with Jeezy and how it organically happened. “We actually bumped into each other and that’s how we did that. We bumped into each other and chopped it up right then. That’s the way those type of things happen if it’s gon' happen."  (Photo: Johnny Louis/WENN.com)

"Move That Bass" - The Breakfast Club and Timbaland had the Internet going nuts last week when the producer leaked an unheard version of Ross’s “Move That Bass,” featuring rookie Chicago femcee Tink rhyming on the track. Titled as the original version, Ross shut down those rumors as he explained that the morning show crew got Timbo jammed up.“Me and Jay did the original version and of course Timbaland produced it, he had the session… and he let his female artist Tink play with the record. I actually went to the studio a couple of months back and he played it for me and I told him, 'I see what you did but put that on ice for a minute because I’m doing my thing with this on the album.’ He produced it, he the homey but he pulled a move. At the end of the day, bosses move in boss ways and that’s something he gon' have to fix. That ain’t good.”(Photos from Left: Brian Ach/Get...

Reaction to Ferguson Unrest - Ross also let the world know he's deeper than rap when asked about his feelings on Darren Wilson walking away scot-free for the murder of Mike Brown. Rozay shared his feelings, stating, "It affected me and my spirit. My condolences go out to the Brown family. And you just being a Black male and sitting there in the hotel room by yourself and you think, like damn, ‘It’s been open season on Black males for a long time and how long did you expect this to go before it came to a head and when it turn up, it can only get worse. I’m sitting there like I don’t want to spew the negativity of how I really feel but it’s a problem and we ain’t gon' stand for that.'”  (Photo by Christopher Polk/BET/GETTY Images for BET)
