Crystal, Cole Rose and Skye make up this unique, up-and-coming trio of singers that exhibit Southern charm with a feisty, feminine edge. We tapped their diverse closets to help us toss a splash of “street” into our everyday wear.

Sophia's Style - Sophia Fresh is funky, but at the same time, girly. ‘Sophia’ is that soft girl side and ‘Fresh’ brings in the hip-hop element. We came up with our style just being starving artists. We just started putting stuff together and said, ‘If this matches, it matches. If it don’t, it don’t.’ Our style came about because of the grind.

Old News - For a while we lived in L.A., so one of our favorite places is Crossroads. It’s a thrift store. Buffalo Exchange is another. We would go and sell old clothes and get new used clothes. It was hot because it was vintage. That’s probably the best place budget-wise.

Fresh Factor - You can put leggings with tennis shoes. Don’t be afraid to do that. Leggings obviously show your figure and the tennis shoes show more of your fresh side. We’re known to do that. You can do whatever you want as long as you wear it with pride and confidence.

Kick Back - We love <i>Pastry</i> and <i>Creative Recreation</i>. We also like <i>Jordans</i> and <i>Nike Dunks</i>. Those are our favorites. Oh, and <i>Converse</i>! We wear a lot of <i>Converse</i>. Sometimes Cole Rose goes to Wal-Mart and buys plain shoes and colors them with markers and designs them herself.

Kick Back - We love <i>Pastry</i> and <i>Creative Recreation</i>. We also like <i>Jordans</i> and <i>Nike Dunks</i>. Those are our favorites. Oh, and <i>Converse</i>! We wear a lot of <i>Converse</i>. Sometimes Cole Rose goes to Wal-Mart and buys plain shoes and colors them with markers and designs them herself.

Skye High - My hairstyle came about because I like blonde. My hair was kind of boring when I first got into the group and everyone said that I looked like Little Orphan Annie, so I got the blonde because I’m really light-skinned, and the blonde makes me look a little more tan.

Rockin' Rose - I’m kind of like a punk rock, hippie type girl. I just kind of figure it out as I go. The mohawk happened on accident, actually. Some years back, I had a bad breakup and I chopped all of my hair off. It looked terrible at first and then some grew in on the sides and everybody loved it, so I just kind of kept it because the record label liked it.

They have a lot of boom box pieces, turntables and things of that nature. The pieces are really out of the box and they catch people’s attention. Our jewelry is another thing to say that we’re fresh, we’re hip-hop.

Face Forward - Collectively, as a group, we are all fans of makeup artists that do great highlighting under the eyes and fabulous contouring. The Kardashian sisters are very famous for great highlighting and having contoured noses.

Up Your Fresh Factor - The best way is to actually go in your own closet, start experimenting, ripping up your own clothes, and create whatever you feel is street to you. I’ll recreate some pants that I’ve had for five years. I’ll cut them up and maybe throw some bleach on them and now they look ‘street’ and they have that edge.
