Chris Johnson and Titans Part Ways - After being rumored earlier in the week, it's official: the Tennessee Titans released running back Chris Johnson on Friday. Johnson, who is one of only six players to rush for 2,000 yards in a season (2009), averaged a career-low 3.9 yards per carry last year and didn't have a run for more than 30 yards the entire 2013 season. He was scheduled to make $8 million from the Titans in 2014.
