Trump Tweeted 'Do You Think The Three UCLA Basketball Players Will Say Thank You President Trump?'
And people are roasting the president for it.
President Trump spoke at length Tuesday about personally asking China's president, Xi Jinping, for help resolving the shoplifting arrest case of LiAngelo Ball and his UCLA basketball teammates Cody Riley and Jalen Hill.
Well, after Ball, Riley and Hil returned home to Los Angeles last night, with their shoplifting charges in China reportedly dropped, Trump took liberty Wednesday morning to tweet: "Do you think the three UCLA basketball players will say 'thank you President Trump?' They were headed for 10 years in jail!"
And that self-pat on the back is getting the celebrity-in-chief roasted with these reactions.
Here's Trump twitter fingers sounding off on UCLA's players this morning
People were left reading this and shaking their heads.
People let the president know how his tweet came across
Probably.
Clearly, there isn't a shortage of egomania in the oval office
Unreal.

So, in other words, Donald, you want credit for doing your job?
Out of control.
And people used his self-pat on the back to offer up this jab ...
Well, Mr. President?
Uncle Luke decided to actually thank Trump, but even that was shaded to the highest degree
Oof!

the only thing that's left is for LaVar Ball to respond to Trump's thirsty attention like ...
WWE-worthy for sure.
