Five Men Caught On Video Fatally Cutting 15-Year-Old’s Throat With A Machete In The Bronx
15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz was dragged by five men out of a Bronx store and stabbed in the neck. The teen, known as Junior, ran to a nearby hospital before succumbing to his injuries.
According to the New York Post, the 15-year-old was killed Wednesday night on Bathgate Avenue in Belmont. Guzman-Felis was allegedly involved in verbal dispute with a group of five men before video footage captured the men physically picking up the teen and dragging him out of the store.
Guzman-Feliz was brutally attacked and stabbed on both sides of his neck with a machete. According to ABC 7, Guzman-Feliz ran to St. Barnabas Hospital, located one block away from the crime scene, before collapsing on the sidewalk.
The victim's 17-year-old sister Genesis Collado-Felix said, "He tried to run into the store because he thought he'd be safe. They dragged him from the store like a dog... They were grown men and he was only 15," in a statement to the New York Post.
Video footage of the incident went viral on social media with the hashtag #JusticeForJunior and garnered the attention of celebs like Cardi B.
On Friday, June 22, NYPD officials released images of the men wanted for the fatal stabbing of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz.
