Update: Black Man Found Hanging From Tree in Georgia

Investigators with the Greensboro Bureau of Investigations have ruled Roosevelt Champion III's death a suicide, My Fox Atlanta reports.
"The results of the autopsy are that the manner of death is suicide and the cause of death is hanging. After a thorough autopsy examination, there was no evidence of any inflicted trauma to Champion's body," the GBI stated in a news release.

Law enforcement in Greene County, Ga., report that they found a 43-year-old Black man hanging from a tree, according to Fox 5 in Atlanta.
Roosevelt Champion III was found dead Monday morning in Greensboro, Ga., behind a residence that was not his home. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is helping local police investigate the case.
Greensboro police chief Ossie Mapp said it's too early to determine the cause of death and an autopsy is underway.
Earlier this year, Otis Byrd was found hanging from a tree in Vicksburg, Miss. The family has called for an independent investigation into his death.
