2 Chainz Donates Minivan to Family Devastated by House Fire
The TRU Foundation strikes again as 2 Chainz just can’t give enough holiday cheer.
After hearing about the incident on the news, the Atlanta native recently visited a family from his hometown and decided to give them a little relief after going through so much adversity. Damien Walker and Tamifonika Jones’s family of four children recently lost all of their belongings in a house fire. One of the kids, 8-year-old Antonio, inhaled so much smoke that it caused permanent brain damage.
During his visit, the “I’m Different” rapper lifted the spirits of the family by not only being there but also telling them they were the proud new owners of a Honda minivan.
“Considering what we’ve done been through, if only you knew the whole deal of it, it’s a blessing we even here,” said Jones. “To go from that to this and this happening so close to the holiday man, it’s just been overwhelming but it’s been a journey at the same time.”
This is only the most recent time 2 Chainz blessed a family in need. Earlier this month he visited the home of a disabled veteran and helped furnish her home while also offering to pay her rent for an entire year. It’s all been from the proceeds raised from selling his wonderfully hilarious Santa dabbing sweaters. Keep buying them if you want more of these good deeds to come.
