The Free Bobby Shmurda Campaign Will Continue

A judge has denied his lawyer's request to post bond.

The hope that Bobby Shmurda would be getting out of prison has been dashed as a judge denied his attorney's attempts at posting bond.

Shmurda, born Ackquille Jean Pollard, was in a New York City courtroom Thursday (December 3) attempting to post the $2 million bond and get himself released but according to TMZ, the terms of his arrangement were changed and now his legal team will have to find a new way to get him out.

It’s been almost a year since the "Hot N***a" rapper was locked up and barely over a year since the rap world found out about him. He is currently being held for conspiracy to commit murder, among other weapons charges.

Just yesterday it was reported that Shmurda may be able to get out of prison. The plan to have him released was so certain, according to his legal team, that it was “bulletproof.” Unfortunately for Bobby that apparently is not the case. His next court date is in January.
