Justin Combs Thanks Diddy for Having His Back
Yesterday's arrest hasn't changed the bond between Diddy and his first-born son, Justin Combs. The UCLA football player sent out a public message to his father on Instagram today. “I thank God for having a father that's always there for me.. Love you pops!” Justin wrote next to a photo with his dad.
Diddy was charged with battery, assault, and making terrorist threats, after the alleged altercation with Sal Alosi, one of Justin’s coaches. According to TMZ, Alosi said to Justin: “I don’t care if your dad’s here, I’m going to treat to you like everyone else.”
He also told the teen to leave for the rest of the summer, upsetting Diddy. Witnesses say he swung a kettlebell at Alosi, but a rep maintains that the “various accounts” of what happened are “inaccurate,” and that Diddy was only protecting himself.
“What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son," said the rep. "We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed.”
