Mariah Carey Cancels Vegas Concert Due to Bronchitis
Mariah Carey’s Las Vegas residency didn’t go on as scheduled Wednesday night. Carey was forced to cancel her concert at the last minute due to bronchitis, TMZ reports.
Audience members entered the Colosseum at Ceasars Palace to find a sign that read: “Tonight's performance has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. We truly regret the inconvenience this has caused.”

Carey said in a statement that she intends on making up for the scrapped show. “Hey guys, I’ve been fighting bronchitis for the past few days,” she explained on Instagram. “Almost better but on mandatory vocal rest per doctor's orders. I’m so sorry to cancel tonight's show but I promise to make it up to you!!! Love you always, MC.”
The “Infinity” singer will rest up until her next performance Saturday, whether the lights will go up for that performance is still unknown. Carey’s Vegas residency, Mariah #1 to Infinity, launched last week with a standout performance by the music icon.
