Did Kanye West Leave Roc Nation?

The rapper is also said to no longer be executive producing Rihanna's upcoming album.

Has Kanye West and Roc Nation called it quits? According to information obtained by music source Hits Daily Double, such is the case. To make matters worse, Yeezy is also said to have given up the reigns on Rihanna's R8, which he was set to executive produce.

"Kanye West has left Roc Nation for management, inside sources say," Hits Daily Double reports.

While the claims have gone viral, with several of the "New Slaves" fans giving their opinions on the alleged divorce, Complex reports that the murmurs are nothing but cheap banter. A source close to the situation told the publication that Ye is, in fact, not leaving the Jay Z-led label and has no plans to. To solidify the rebuttal, Kanye is still listed as a part of their artists roster on the Roc Nation website.

In regards to Ye's involvement as executive producer on Rihanna's upcoming eighth studio album, neither RiRi nor Kanye's camps have confirmed or denied the claims. Word got out that the rapper gave up the role after the Bajan singer's latest single "American Oxygen" tanked after premiering exclusively on TIDAL. The track only sold 7,000 units last week, making it one of the singer's worst performing singles in this era.
